Resumen

   Cuando era adolescente me enteré de que el Premio Nobel se les daba a aquellas personas que habían contribuido a la humanidad con algún aporte científico, cultural o social importante. Y cuando después, con los años, valoré la trascendencia de los tratamientos que hacía mi abuela en un buen número de enfermedades, no entendía por qué a ella nunca le habían dado el Premio Nobel.

Abstract

   When I was a teen-ager I found out the Nobel Prize was given to those who contributed to humanity with some scientific, cultural or social improvement. And when later on, as years went by, I came to value the transcendence of my grandmother’s treatments to a great deal of diseases, I could never understand why she was never given the Nobel Prize.
