Resumen

   Hemos finalizado el siglo XX y comenzado el XXI con fuertes contrastes y tensiones. Por un lado se han logrado grandes avances en los campos de la investigación científica y tecnológica, y, por otro lado, continúan abiertas las heridas provocadas por las guerras y múltiples conflictos armados en diversas regiones del mundo. Hoy hay grandes posibilidades de vida y desarrollo para los pueblos; están ahí todas las condiciones, pero, cuando hacemos un análisis de la situación, nos encontramos que en nuestras sociedades han aumentado la exclusión social, la pobreza, y la pobreza en la riqueza.

Abstract

   We have finished the XX^th century and started the XXI^st in the middle of strong contrasts and tensions. On one hand, big advances have been made in scientific and technological investigation, and, on the other hand, the wounds caused by wars and diverse armed conflicts in different regions of the world are still opened. There are great possibilities of life and development for the nations of the world today; the conditions are all there, but when we analyze the situation, we find that in all our societies the social exclusion, poverty and poverty in richness have increased.
