Resumen

   En una sociedad democrática, la formación de las personas como ciudadanas implica prepararlas para participar en el desarrollo de la comunidad y, al mismo tiempo, potenciar las estructuras participativas en las que puedan implicarse.
   El ser humano no nace ciudadano, se hace, en el tiempo y en el espacio, formando parte de la ciudad con una serie de derechos y deberes. No es una tarea sencilla, hay que ir formándose a lo largo de la vida, y esto exige informarse, aprender, cuestionarse y cuestionar y, sobre todo, participar en la causa pública.

Abstract

   In a democratic society, training people in how to become citizens entails to prepare them to participate in the community development, and at the same time, to strengthen the participative structures where they can become involved.
   A human being is not born already a citizen, he becomes so, in time and in space, being part of the city with a series of rights and duties. It is not an easy task, you have to train yourself along your life, and this demands to be informed, to learn, to question and to be questioned, and above all, to participate in the public cause.
